To be honest, I didn't feel that she did that good a job in that movie....


I have some other thoughts as to why she won that year, but I can't come up with a way to say it without coming across as something I am not.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah it looked good that she won the same year than Denzel and the year they were honoring Sidney Poitier... but seriously, she was more deserving than Denzel that year.

Here's the list of nominee.
* Halle Berry -- Monster's Ball
Judi Dench -- Iris
Nicole Kidman -- Moulin Rouge
Sissy Spacek -- In the Bedroom
Ren?e Zellweger -- Bridget Jones's Diary

The only movie I haven't seen is IRIS so I can't comment on Judi Dench's performance, but Berry's performance was better than Kidman, Spacek and Zellweger

I didn't want to say that relationship......but that is exactly what I was thinking!

I did see Iris, and Judi Dench deserved it a hell of a lot more than Halley

I thought Spacek was great in In The Bedroom. Berry shouldn't have won just so we could have been spared her speech.

Let me know if Bernard Hill has a sizable role in Gothika...
